Grand Red Cross fair kicks off today

BANGKOK, 30 March 2012 – The Thai Red Cross Society encourages visitors to wear blue to the 2012 Red Cross Fair in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th birthday this year. The fair is held from 30 March – 7 April 2012 at the Royal Plaza.

The red cross fair opens from 2 – 11 pm, Monday – Friday, and 10 am – 11 pm on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Admission is 20 baht. Proceeds will go to the Thai Red Cross Society for flood rehabilitation.

Visitors are invited to wear blue to the fair since blue is the symbol of Friday, HM the Queen’s birthday. Like every year, highlights of the fair include the famous lucky draw “Soi Dao” hosted by various organizations and units, cheap products, performances and Red Cross lotteries.
